The Detective.
1930..........
The Detective is an extra-terrestrial from the planet
Verona, a planet not charted on
any star map ever made. Their civilization is much like
to the civilization of Earth in the 1940's and it only
differs in the respect that they have the ability to time
travel.
The Detective is an investigator on this planet.
Approximately five years ago he was
sent to Earth to the time 1930
to track down an alien criminal who had illegal possession of a
time ship.
Since then, after being unable to capture the criminal
and only able to apprehend the time ship and not being
bound to stay on Verona, the Detective stayed on
Earth and kept the time ship. He lived in a mansion on
Vincent Street, making his living as a private
investigator through time.
1940..............
But that was a while ago. A lot has changed over the course of
ten years. Many people have lived on Vincent Street under the
title of the 'Detective'; the most recent one has died and
someone has come to claim the post.
